In 1960, TOC’s predecessor, Timber Operators Council, was formed by a group of Pacific Northwest lumber mill owners and operators to negotiate labor contracts and help with general personnel issues. Over the years our member-owned association grew and we added human resource, safety, group benefit, workers’ comp programs and other related services. As the forest products industry changed in the 1990s, TOC also changed. While our primary focus remains manufacturing, our staff now provides human resource solutions for more than 500 employers in a wide range of industries. TOC serves members from offices in Oregon, Washington and Northern California. |
