Affirmative Action Planning “TOC’s support made it easy for us to bring our plan up to date and the cost was less than we were paying before.” Preparing an affirmative action plan (AAP) takes valuable time away from running your business. Using your data, TOC compiles a written AAP that contains the statistical analyses and reports that are required for employers with federal “supply and service” contracts. Our HR professionals and staff attorneys help you to identify any problems and find solutions that meet AAP requirements. Should the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) audit your affirmative action plan, we can help you through the entire process. You’ll receive required posters, model EEO policies and model forms for obtaining appropriate data on race, gender, veteran and disability status. Simply send us your employee and applicant data in electronic form. We’ll prepare the calculations, reports, and basic language for your written AAPs and help you implement them. All of this is included in our surprisingly low annual fee. Note for employers with federal construction contracts: You’re technically not required to have a written AAP, but you have numerous affirmative action obligations that are unique to the construction industry. To help you comply, we annually customize an affirmative action binder and checklist for you. You also receive recordkeeping spreadsheets, model forms, notices and policies for meeting your legal obligations. To learn more about how TOC can help, call or e-mail Karen Davis at 800.733.8621.
